What will the iPad mean to e-commerce? The new iPad has a possibility of being widely accepted as a dominant player in the mobile payment market. People are more and more comfortable with online banking, and the move to mobile banking is definitely intensifying. Globe unit secures govt nod to expand remittance service

The number of GCash outlets rises from 3,000 to 18,000 in the Philippines with the recent government regulatory approval to expand its remittance network using GLOBE Telecom Inc’s sub-distributors nationwide. GCash is an “electronic wallet” that allows users to send and receive cash and make payments—including bills, donations and online purchases—through text messaging.
